For those who want to sample rural village living there’s Old Buckenham, believed to have the largest village green in Britain at some 40 acres, including duck ponds and playing fields – it’s also where the annual fair is held.
The village pub, The Ox & Plough, is the hub of the community and is located just opposite, it regularly caters for family fun days, bike meetings and classic car days too. There is also a village shop, primary school and secondary school which serves neighbouring villages too.
