Often described by visitors as “picture postcard perfect”, thanks to the beautiful array of period buildings, Ixworth is a West Suffolk village located about six miles north-east of Bury St Edmunds.

Locals are particularly proud of the “thriving and connected community” within the village.

The local village hall plays host to a number of community groups and is the village library too, with widely used recreational fields and play area for children lying behind it. The village has its own range of local shops, local pubs, two schools, police and fire station.
