Victoria Park or Vicky Park is the largest park in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets and the third-largest park in London.

The so-called ‘People’s Park’ is the capital’s oldest public park, first opening its gates to the many in 1845. It’s also the most visited green space with approximately 9 million flocking there every year.

It’s the perfect breathing space and green escape for East Londoners with 218 acres of parkland interspersed with fountains, cafes, lakes, tennis courts and a bowling green.

The Sunday market boasts a unique blend of artisanal retailers, street eats, fresh produce and even a doggy deli.

Surrounding the park is a beautiful mix of period houses, bars, restaurants and cafes. With so much to do, it’s no wonder this urban oasis is so popular.
