Training through the cold winter nights has been very familiar for Will, who used to run cross country for Ealing.
He said: “The physical side of things hasn’t been too difficult – but it has been a real mental challenge; the discipline and diet has been a real test and I’ve really missed going out for dinners with my partner and friends.
“Running a marathon has always been a goal of mine – it’s something to tick off the list and, after completing the Ealing Half Marathon last year, this seems the obvious next step.”
Brighton Marathon is a fast coastal route and tends to have a real party atmosphere. The run passes
The Royal Pavilion, Brighton Dome, the i360 tower, the North Laine, Peace Statue and The Pier.
He’ll be cheered on by a big group of family and friends on the day. To sponsor Will visit: www.justgiving.com/fundraising/willthacker1
